Utility Scale Projects

Project Name: Cristuru

Location: Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo

Size: 9.02 MWp/ 18.3MWh

Status:Completed December 2015

The Cristuru hybrid solar BESS project, located in Kasangulu County, Lubumbashi, features 9.02 MWp/18.3MWh of installed PV capacity, utilizing 18,458 pieces of Suntech STP245-20/Wd and 18,722 pieces of Suntech STP255-20/Wd solar modules, and Advanced Energy AE 3TL 23-MV inverters, completed in November 2021, with an estimated annual electricity generation of 5,709 MWh and an additional 6,054 MWh.

C&I Scale Projects

Project Name: D'Angelo Commercial Complex

Service: Engineering, Procurement and Construction Supervision.

Location: Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo

Size: 10 MWp / 25MWh

Status: Complete April 2022

Arroyo Energy, owner of the 10 MWp/25MWh medium-scale D'angelo project, located in the municipality of Likasi, Katanga Region, commissioned Orion Energy to supervise the development phase for this photovoltaic-battery storage park. After the development phase, Orion Energy supervised the construction to ensure quality and compliance according to the conditions of the client. This project achieved completion in 2022
